Donald John Angilletta, 62, of Poulsbo, WA passed away on April 2nd in Bremerton, WA.

Donald was born on Jan. 13, 1948 in Schenectaday, NY to Dominic and Norma (Bissett) Angilletta. He graduated from Bishop Gibbons High School in Schenectaday, NY. He also attended Hudson College and many Naval Schools. On Dec. 28, 1968, Donald married Eileen Fuller in Schenectaday, NY.

Donald enlisted in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service and proudly served from 1968-1988. He retired as Senior Chief and served on the USS Kamehameha, USS George C. Marshall and USS Georgia. Donald held memberships in Submarine Veterans and Fleet Reserve.

He was an avid wine enthusiast and an avid tennis fan and player. Donald also enjoyed coaching and playing softball.

Donald is survived by his wife of 41 years, Eileen; son, Dennis; daughter, Michelle; and sisters, Maureen, Joan and Mary.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 7th at 1 p.m. at The Stone Chapel, Poulsbo Mortuary. In lieu of flower’s, memorial donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (Greater NW Chapter) 192 Nickerson St, Suite 100 Seattle, WA 98109.
