Biography
Scotia- Mae E. Angilletta, 82, passed away Sunday, November 29,2009 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. She was the daughter of the Late Louis and Antoinette Iovinelli.
Mae was a loving mother and grandmother who loved nothing more then spending time with her family. Her granddaughters’ friends lovingly referred to her as “Grandma”. She also enjoyed participating in her card club for over 50 years. She enjoyed being “the life of the party”, as well as, reading, cooking, watching classic movies and the Yankees. Although tiny in stature, Mae had a large heart, which made her beloved to anyone that had the pleasure of making her acquaintance.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, John Angilletta Sr.
Mae is survived by her son, John (Debi) Angilletta of Scotia; grandchildren, Amber and Sarah Angilletta; sister, Eleanor Baker of Schenectady; goddaughter Michelle DeAngelus-RothRock; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved friends of her card club.
A Funeral Service will be held 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at the White Funeral Home, 264 N. Ballston Ave (Rt.50), Scotia. Relatives and friends are invited to call, Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Glenville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mae’s Memory to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308.
